Our sixth annual DALC Excellence Award were announced at DALC Day, held at Chesterfield's Technique Stadium.

Winners of the three categories were as follows:

BHIB Council of the Year - Bamford With Thornhill Parish Council (Highly Commended - Belper Town Council and Ripley Town Council)

Blachere Illumination Clerk of the Year - Sheila Matthews, Kilburn Parish Council (Highly Commended - Emma Smith of Barlow Parish Council, Rachel Male of Etwall Parish Council)

CCLA Councillor of the the Year - Cllr David Williams, Ripley Town Council (Highly Commended - Ray Whiteley of Grindleford Parish Council)
